Welcome to The Boltmakers Arms

Superb selection of Timothy Taylor award winning ales

Original, traditional, quality ales, served in a great atmosphere is what makes The Boltmakers Arms, a pub of outstanding reputation. We stock a large selection of fine Malt Whiskies and the finest ales from Timothy Taylor so that our customers experience drinking pleasure as it should be. Our warm, friendly pub (the smallest in Keighley) has long been known locally for the warmth of our welcome, the friendly company, fascinating music memorabilia and above all, the quality of our cask ales.

The Boltmakers has often been voted CAMRA’s ‘Keighley Pub of the Season’ and is regarded as an essential ‘quality control’ visit for maltsters visiting the brewery. We set the benchmark that others strive to reach.

Our location, just a few minutes from the railway station at Keighley, means we are particularly popular with Keighley & Worth Valley Railway enthusiasts, discerning drinkers who know a good ale house when they find one. We ensure our ales are cared for and maintained to the highest standards and also have a changing choice of guest ales for added variety. Musicians and those with an interest in the music industry too have found our welcome to their liking; Oasis once sponsored a football team here at The Boltmakers Arms.

The Boltmakers Arms at Keighley, with crackling open fires that invite you in on cold winter days and a lovely beer garden that takes you out on warm summer’s nights, is both a popular destination for visitors to the area, as well as a much loved part of the local community. We host a popular Quiz night every Tuesday and have live music on every second Wednesday, featuring popular and up and coming artists. We strongly support our local charities too and have raised thousands each year with the generosity of our lovely customers.

For the moment, smoking is still permitted throughout the pub and we provide a selection of toasted sandwiches at lunchtimes.
